A 0.75HP sand pump can achieve an injection distance of up to 10 meters, while a 0.1HP/1000 gallons or 80W ordinary filter pump (HP = 80/745.7) can manage an injection distance of about 4 meters. However, a 0.02HP/530 gallons or 15W ordinary filter pump may not be powerful enough to produce any spray at all. It is recommended to use a filter pump of AT LEAST 0.2hp and above to ensure optimal performance.
